One of my favorite authors (and shark diving buddies), NT Wright and one of my favorite TV personalities (Stephen Colbert) are coming together tomorrow night for a 1/2 hour of awesomeness on the Colbert Report. You MUST check this out. Here’s a little teaser.

    Say Anything

I was with some friends (Bobby, Julie, Eve, Jessica, Amy, Clark, Clay, Cassandra, Joy, Olga) last night and we were discussing the best romantic comedies of all time. I of course won by letting everyone know that the best romantic comedy of all time is, as we all know, “Say Anything.” It wins for more reasons that I can possibly detail here, but chief among them is this classic scene.

Though I am thinking this one might have done the job as well – what do you think?

I head this clip on the radio today and it made me think of my friend Jason – a guy who nearly kills his twin sister Sarah every year during our annual Thanksgiving football game. Miss ya Jas.

Just check out the intimidation factor!!

I love the show Lost. A friend got me hooked when I lived in LA by watching previous seasons. I recently flew through season three and am trying to keep up with season 4. I stumbled across this little quiz today and apparently, if I were a Lost character I would be John Locke.

I resent the bald remark :)

Toward a Missional Vision of Theological Education

One of my main areas of interest is the shaping of a missional paradigm of theological education in Post-Christendom. To that end I wrote a series of 9 posts on the subject that have become foundational for work that I am continuing to do in the current context of seminary education.
