Probably the biggest deal is a once in a lifetime opportunity we are planning to take advantage of with the help of some family and friends who are willing to support us.

This coming October, the Lausanne Movement will be hosting its 3rd Congress on World Evangelization.  The Lausanne Movement, if you’re not familiar is

A worldwide movement that mobilizes evangelical leaders to collaborate for world evangelization.

Here’s a 3 minute clip on the history of the Lausanne Movement.

If that wasn’t a big enough deal, for the first time in history, there will be delegates of leaders from the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the church in China.

Attendance at the Congress is by invitation only and there are only a certain number of invitations to be had per country and my wife, Amy, has been invited as 1 of only 400 delegates from the entire United States!!
