Because you were all so helpful with wedding music suggestions, I thought I’d throw out another major feature of the wedding planning to get your thoughts on – the honeymoon!

What ideas/suggestions do you have?
Where did/would you go and why?
What do you think is most/least important to consider?
Not asking you to think about us in particular necessarily – feel free to try and convince us.

2We went to Santa Rosa Beach, FL and rented a little honeymoon cottage right down the road from the beach. It was PERFECT! We were able to relax on the unfilled beach all morning, and enjoy wonderful seafood at night. If you like the beach it was wonderful. It wasn’t swanky, or all inclusive, but we love to cook for ourselves, so we enjoyed having our own kitchen and such.

3Heather and I went to Makinaw, but stayed in the city instead of on the island. About half the price. We spent a day on the island, spent a day at the fort, and also went up to the U.P. for a day going to Tacquamenon Falls (sp?). Beautiful and relaxing.

4Pick Memphis. I hear the people there are really cool. I think you and Amy would like them….

5Went to Cancun…It was beautiful and the trip of a lifetime. I would not change one thing about it, though, I’m sure it would have been great no matter where we went because it was our honeymoon!

6You only go on 1 honeymoon so splurge on it!!! All inclusive is the way to go. It was great not having to carry around money or pay for anything the whole week. Adam really enjoyed all you can drink. We went to Punta Cana and it was awesome.

8Patti’s a funny gal!! I like the way Carri thinks but I’d suggest cruise. Food (gooood food)-activities-people from all over-ports-or just hide out. CRUISE ON.

9Hi JR this is Stan – where you ate lunch two Sunday’s ago.
Laurie and I went to Hohenschwangau, Bavaria down the hill from the Neuschwanstein Castle. We are mountain people and it doesn’t get any better than this on the north slope of the Alps.
The combination of castle architecture and natural beauty just makes me want to explode in worship.

10Stan, that sounds amazing. Not sure we are looking to travel quite that far this time around, but I don’t want to forget about this for a future trip, thanks.

11My husband and I went to Orlando for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us! I had never been to any of the Disney theme parks so that was a fun part of it…we went to MGM Studios one day and Sea World another day, but we also were able to take in Daytona beach one day and some others during the week….a great combo of things to do…wherever you two decide to go I hope you have a great time!
