It gives you the "star rating" of the hotel (with guidelines available to view on the site) but not the actual name of the hotel itself until you've already paid and confirmed your reservation. So if you're willing to take a little "risk", you can save pretty big money. Ed and I stayed at a beautiful Crown Plaza (which is 3 1/2 stars according to Hotwire) for $49 a night. I think the regular rate was $149 or something ridiculous like that. We've also stayed at the Westin (a 4 star hotel) for $61. Definately worth checking out if you guys know the exact dates and where you'll be going! Good luck! Hotwire.com. We had friends with really nice cameras take all of our wedding pictures. We made everything that we could ourselves, bulletins, invitations, table decorations. Just remember, family's in particular, have a lot of emotion riding on a wedding...with that said you will probably offend someone, but remember that they will get over it. You can't please everyone.
