Way to find the blog Abbie, and thanks for the comment. If you appreciated any of those quotes by Hauerwas and haven't read him, I would highly recommend either "Community of Character," or "Resident Aliens." While I think he would agree with what you said, he would probably also be quick to say that action also results in the formation of our beliefs. Great to have met you, all the best.

Thanks for reading this quote Monday night- it is a good illustration of the difference between simply knowing what you believe and living what you believe. Because really, true belief translates into action!
