I noticed the other day that a friend on Facebook had a little Myers-Briggs profile thing, so I thought Id take the brief test and add it to mine. I came out an ENFJ. In the past I have come out an ENTJ, but I took this test twice and it came out the same. As you’ll notice however, I am tipped to the F side by a whole 1%. Apparently I have been making some inroads in terms of balancing out the war in my personality over thinking and feeling!
I am almost certain that some of this has to do with my transition from the academic world into one more marked by my pastoral role - something I might add I am finding quite refreshing and life-giving. I was reminded of my previous posts on “Missional Pastoring” and “To Pastor or Not To Pastor…” and how thankful I am that God has led me to where I find myself and to what I find myself doing.

I’m thinking of a conversation at a Chili’s a long time ago when I protested that you were an NF as opposed to a NT. I remember you were like no way… I was like way…
I just had to tell you that a little smirk came to my face when I read this blog entry…

So, random. I am singing Ten Thousand Angels in a wedding and forgot the words in LA. And what was the number 1 website to find the words…your blog. Random brother. Random. Miss you man. Wish you were back at Fuller.

JR- Found this while looking you up to do an brief blurb on you with Bolger for MAGL eNewsletter
You know, this is the second time (remember the DiSC profie?!) I discover that we are alike- I’m an INFJ (with my T and F fairly close too, bet def an NF). Well, as a friend once said to me when I protested- “You ARE an F, Aly; you are just a T wanna be”. So maybe we are T wannabe’s but at heart, we are NF’s!
