I posted the other day about Telling God’s Story: Narrative Preaching for Christian Formation by John W. Wright. I just finished and wanted to recommend it to anyone who cares for others in a pastoral sense or anyone who really wants to think critically about the purpose and identity of the church. There is a little bit of technical language to wade through, but on the whole I found the book very accessible. It definitely has a good deal to say about preaching, but that hardly does justice to the ground the author covers in just over 150 pages. I really think I might want to read this again with a few friends (any takers???). Good book, thanks John!
Great Book
