• Missional Seating :)

    With the addition of a few new pieces of furniture, courtesy of our local Salvation Army, the living room on my new apartment is really coming together.  We have three couches set up in a triangle with the television on the outside of one of the corners and a coffee table in the middle.  My roomate Sam calls this “missional seating” as it encourages facing one another, allowing for conversation, and it prohibits the television from being the center of attention if guests are over.  Here’s some shots of missional seating in action from the Super Bowl party we threw on Sunday.  We bought pizza dough and a bunch of toppings and everyone got to make their own pie – almost Seinfeld, but not quite.
