Christmas Party with Friends New and Old

My friends Jason and Suzi threw a great Christmas party the other night. There was all sorts of great food, a white elephant gift exchange, and a few songs led by friend Ryan. To end the evening Jason asked people to share about how they had seen God at work in the last year of their lives. I have said before how great it is to have a community of friends like the one that I do, but one of the best parts of our community is its desire to branch out and include others. This is what I reflected on when it was my turn – how God has been active in my life in this unseen way in which the community I love here in Canton has, in my absence, grown and expanded, so that when I come back it’s almost like a new community. I love that.
