Here’s the schedule (past, present, future).

June 23 – Pasadena, California

June 24-25 – Canton/Stow, Ohio

June 26-27 – Pelee Island, Canada

June 28-29 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

June 30-August 2 – New York, New York

August 2-8 – Malaga, Spain

August 9-November 7? – Oslo, Norway (probably with sporadic trips to Denmark, London, Sweeden, etc. thrown in)

For those of you who have no idea what all this is about…

I have been seeing a girl named Maria since April.  We met through a mutual friend and were taking an online class together during spring quarter.  All the way back then she had decided to spend fall quarter in Norway doing her field education for her MDiv and also helping to teach a class at her former seminary, MF.  Since neither one of us really liked the idea of being apart for 5 months, since all I need to work on during fall quarter is my masters thesis, and since my experiencing and learning about Norwegian culture is important to both Maria and I, I will be spending some time there with her.  It worked out beautifully that she could come home with me early to meet some friends and family as well as attend a good friends wedding and in just a few days I will be joining her and some of her family in Spain before she and I head back to Oslo together.  I can stay for up to 90 days without a visa, so unless she gets sick of me before then, I will be back in Ohio the second week of November.  Now you’re all caught up and you’ll know why my posts may be both more sporadic as well as random during the upcoming months.
