Something very cool happened today. The School of Psychology students (led by my roommate, Ryan Spencer) threw a party for the School of Theology Students. They threw it right in the middle of campus, right in the heart of the day. It was complete with hamburgers and hot dogs, raffles, video games, music, doughnuts, mixers, and Burger King crowns, which signified us as a royal priesthood. They prayed for us and thanked us for our labor of keeping theology, more specifically, God, the center of the study of psychology. It really was cool beyond words. One of the funniest things was t-shirts made by someone in the School of Psychology which said “single” on the front and “and happy” on the back. The funny part was that these phrases were written in Hebrew, thus rendering them completely unintelligible to any non-theology student. I was dying. Here’s a few pictures from the morning.
On man, I almost forgot. You know how sometimes people say things, which, when taken out of context, are just about the funniest things you ever hear. Yeah, that was my friend Annie today. She said, “You look so Kingly in your crown. Will you please rule over me as a man should rule over a woman.” Holy Cow! That was awesome!
