Of all the various things I have been exposed to at seminary, the idea of what it means for the church to be “missional,” ranks amongst the top. There are all sorts of ways to get at what this means (many of which I hope to address if I ever get around to delving into some of the topics that I promised I would), but for a brief introduction, I thought I’d point you to what one of my professors posted on his blog today.
Toward a Missional Vision of Theological Education
One of my main areas of interest is the shaping of a missional paradigm of theological education in Post-Christendom. To that end I wrote a series of 9 posts on the subject that have become foundational for work that I am continuing to do in the current context of seminary education.
