First of all, it wasn't touch football, we tackled. Secondly, it was interesting to notice when we went around the table to say what we were thankful for, many people mentioned that they were thankful that they were "known" by others around them. It was comforting to have people who know you, care about you, and miss you when you are gone. JR, we know you couldn't make it this year, we care about you (which is why I'm reading this blog of yours), and we missed you dearly. Then only thing that helps me cope with your absence this weekend is knowing how much fun in the sun we will have in Hilton Head this summer. I can't wait.

-Ryan

Seriously, the whole thing was like a commercial for speaker phone.

I love you man, it was tough knowing that you weren't there, but I'm happy knowing that you are where God has placed you. Be well bro.

We missed this year too, so I can definitely understand the missing, while also realizing how amazing it is to be part of a community that really has become family. I feel so blessed! Already looking forward to next year...
