Some Randomness

Totally slacking on the updates – so sorry. Let’s see – we are in the last week of classes. Next week is exam week, but I have no exams. That means I will spend the week finishing up my major papers.

Thanksgiving was great. I spent a few days with dad and fam. We went to the OC (nothing like the tv show). We visited a big swap meet and an Ikea. Ikea is the bomb! It’s like Disneyland for furniture.

I am going to try to get to a sitcom taping this weekend. They are totally free, you just have to print off tickets, show up, and start laughing. How great is that.

I booked my flights back and forth for Christmas. I will be home on Saturday Dec. 10 and will return on Wed. the 29th. Planning a brief trip to New York City with some friends, but mainly a lot of time just to be with family and friends.

Church stuff continues to go well. We had a parent meeting this evening, so it was a great chance to get to know some of the JH adn SH parents and for them to get to know Becca (JH leader) and I.

I remain incredibly thankful for what God is opening my eyes to out here in LA. I really have learned so much in a variety of ways. Between classes, new people, new experiences, and just good old diving in deeper with God, I feel like I am changing all the time.
